Before you decide
Are there really no hidden monthly fees?
The on-premise license is a one-time payment — host it yourself and there's no recurring bill for cards, seats, or scans. If you'd rather not manage hosting, Managed plans are a separate monthly option, but the card feature itself never carries a per-card or per-seat fee.
How does dynamic card updating work?
Each card links to a live record, not a static image. Change a title, phone number, or photo in the dashboard, and every printed card — desk plaque, badge, or NFC tag — reflects it on the next scan.
Does this work with NFC cards, or just QR?
Both. An NFC tag and a QR code can point to the exact same profile, so people can tap or scan depending on their phone.
Can I issue cards for the whole company at once?
Yes — Bulk Generation / CSV Import creates cards for 5 or 5,000 employees in a single pass.
Can I capture a lead's info back, not just share mine?
Pair your card with a Lead Form code — every submission is captured and can route to your CRM via Zapier or a webhook.
What if I don't want to host it myself?
Choose a Managed plan and we host a white-labeled version for you instead of the on-premise license.
Do I have to pay to keep it updated?
No. Updates are included with your license and you can install them yourself for free, anytime. If you'd rather not do that yourself, an optional Automatic Update Service is available for $25/month — cancel anytime — and it's entirely optional, not something you need to run the card feature.
Can someone install it on my server for me?
Yes — the optional Installation Service gets QuickCode installed and running on your own hosting within 48 hours for a one-time $50 fee, whether you're on shared hosting with a control panel or an unmanaged Linux VPS.
